Hello everyone,
I sometimes receive questions or confusion about the difference between subscribing to my blog vs. newsletter.
Look to the right and you can see two options
Most people subscribe to my blog so that they can get a notification of my blog posts without having to check in on the site every week or so. This is of course the best way to follow a blog (other than RSS which is less in vogue these days.) One post = one email. Simple 🙂
So what's the newsletter? This has nothing to do with my blog. This is an email that I typically send once a quarter, or as frequently as one a month (rarely). This is entirely an update on where I am with my writing, cover releases, book release announcements, inside info. Subscribe if you are more interested in knowing when I have a book coming out rather than my blog posts. Newsletter peeps are usually in the know before anyone else and I like to do freebies for newsletter peeps only.
Later this year I will be offering an exclusive short story for everyone that subscribes to the newsletter. This won't be available to anyone else. Don't hold back though. Anyone who is already on the newsletter list when the story comes out will automatically get a copy. You won't miss out. 🙂
So feel free to subscribe to either or both newsletter and blog. Both have unsubscribe abilities. I try not to spam and I never share or sell email addresses. That's dirty!
